All of the funds raised through Ballarat Foundation appeals and events support our work in driving positive community outcomes in Ballarat and surrounds.
Our key events are Dancing with our Stars, held annually in June/July. Run for a Cause, conducted annually in November, ran from 2018 to 2023.
Run for a Cause
Run for a Cause began in 2018 with the course originally in Victoria Park. The event went virtual over the pandemic years and returned as a physical event in 2022. The final year was held in Lucas with runners and walkers going through the Arch of Victory.

Dancing with our Stars
Held annually, ten local celebrities take to the dancefloor, each performing a different ballroom dance routine. The Stars put just as much effort in to fundraise to reach their goal. All of this hard work and commitment is in a bid to win the Dancing with our Stars Trophy. Read more
